[A], [B], [C] are self-explanetory; you can sort your results
based upon any of these three options, with Rank being the most
common option.
[D] will reverse any of the previous options selected.
[E] will take you to a new menu of technical ranking options. These
options all relate to price and volume. The periods used will be
determined by the parameters that you set on the program settings
menu. These periods are the moving averages and the period of
performance that the data has been ranked upon. You will first select
one of the criteria and then have the option of selecting a second
criteria to relate to the first criteria. Once the second criteria
has been chosen, another menu of Ranking Formula will be displayed.
These are simply mathematical relationships for the two selected
criteria. The most common and probably most useful will be <5> %
Change. Once you have selected one, the data will be ranked
according to that relationship.
[F] Here you will be taken to a menu of Ranking Criteria similar to
the one displayed for Technical Ranking but containing a much greater
selection of criteria. You will need to have portfolio data in your
database to make these additional criteria useful. Access will allow
you to input the necessary data.
